Supplemental Terms for Atsign AI Architect
Effective Date: June 8, 2026
1. Relationship to General Terms
These Supplemental Terms ("Supplement") govern the Customer’s use of the Atsign AI Architect mapping product (the "Product"). This Supplement is an addendum to, and is incorporated into, the Atsign Terms and Conditions found at https://atsign.com/terms-conditions/ (the "General Terms").
- Precedence: In the event of a direct conflict between this Supplement and the General Terms regarding the Product, this Supplement shall control.
- Agreement: By any Person accessing or using the Product, the Customer agrees to be bound by both this Supplement and the General Terms.
2. Scope of Service
These Supplemental Terms apply specifically to the Atsign AI Architect mapping product (the "Product"). The Product is a deterministic utility that allows People to map business workflows to create structured architectural blueprints (“Blueprints”) and JSON files ("Prompts"). These Prompts are designed to serve as precise instructions for third-party Large Language Models ("LLMs").
- Complimentary Prototyping Access: Upon initial account registration, Customer is granted a thirty (30) day evaluation and prototyping period (the “Prototyping Period”) to utilize the Product and Testing Atsigns on a complimentary basis.
- Testing Atsigns Registration Requirement: To fully test and evaluate application prototypes, Customer must register for testing Atsign identifiers (“Testing Atsigns”) within the thirty (30) day Prototyping Period.
- Atsign Discretion & Revocation: Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Prototyping Period and access to any registered Testing Atsigns are promotional and temporary. Upon the expiration of the thirty (30) day period, Atsign reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or revoke Customer’s access to the Product and any associated Testing Atsigns. While Atsign may elect to permit continued access for ongoing testing, it is under no obligation to do so, and access may be terminated at any time following Day 30 without prior notice.
- Account Registration & Communication: In exchange for receiving complimentary prototyping access, Customer agrees that the contact information and account registration data provided at signup may be shared internally with Atsign’s sales and growth teams. Atsign may use this information to contact the Customer regarding their evaluation of the Product, provide prototyping support, and offer information on transitioning to paid platform services or commercial Atsigns. All handling of registration data will comply with Atsign’s Privacy Policy.
3. Nature of the Product and AI Interfacing
- Deterministic Mapping: Customer acknowledges that the Product organizes Customer-defined logic into a structured format. The Product itself does not generate code; it creates the "Prompt" intended to guide external generative AI.
- Third-Party Interpretation: Atsign is not responsible for how third-party LLMs interpret, process, or generate code based on the Prompts.
- No Warranty for Generative Results: While the Product provides the structure, the final code or application created by an LLM is outside of Atsign’s control. Customer is solely responsible for testing and validating any code before production use.
4. Intellectual Property & Ownership
- Customer Workflows: The Customer retains all rights, title, and interest in the original business logic and workflows mapped within the Product ("Customer Inputs").
- Blueprint Structure: Atsign retains ownership of the underlying schema, Product interface, and the proprietary method of organizing workflows into JSON format.
- License to Prompts: Atsign grants Customer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and export the Prompts for the purpose of application development and LLM prompting.
5. UI/UX Analytics & Product Improvement
- Behavioral Tracking: Customer acknowledges and agrees that Atsign may monitor, collect, and analyze user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) data related to interactions with the Product. This includes, but is not limited to, telemetry regarding feature utilization, click-path patterns, screen navigation, workflow construction steps, and session performance metrics.
- Purpose: This data is collected strictly to evaluate the Product’s usability, optimize user workflows, identify technical friction points, and guide future interface improvements or features.
- Data Boundaries & Privacy: Atsign utilizes this behavioral data in an aggregated or de-identified manner for product enhancement. This tracking is focused strictly on how the Product is used; the specific content of Customer’s Blueprints, Prompts, and Customer Inputs remains strictly confidential, private to the Customer, and inaccessible to Atsign for product tracking purposes. As set forth in Section 4, Atsign claims no ownership or visibility over the proprietary business logic mapped within the workflows.
6. Security & Hardened Architecture
Customer acknowledges that while the Product follows Atsign Platform security principles, the security of the final application generated by an LLM is the Customer’s responsibility. The Product provides the Blueprint and Prompt; the Customer must ensure the human-in-the-loop review includes a security audit of all LLM-generated code.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atsign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Product. Specifically, Atsign disclaims all liability for:
- Errors, omissions, or "hallucinations" produced by third-party LLMs utilizing the Prompts.
- Security vulnerabilities or functional defects in code generated by any external service.
- The performance or failure of any prototype or application developed using the Prompts. The Customer assumes all risk regarding the fitness of LLM-generated results for their specific business purposes.
